Personal Poem (Introduction Poem – Mandatory)

“Problems”

Life wouldn’t be complete without problems,

Problems that I think will ruin my life,

But the reality is

This is what made me a better person.

I can describe myself as a quite person,

You wouldn’t know if I have problems,

But inside of me is a dragon,

Breathing fire figuratively.

If I have problems, I want to relax myself,

I am searching for something to look at,

I love seeing places with different beautiful flowers,

And I hate seeing when people destroy it.

Problems are really everywhere,

Wherever I look, there are always there,

If only my hands could speak,

It would say that I should have time to rest.

Night is my favorite time of the day,

I can rest after what I done in a day,

This is the time when the surrounding is at peace,

I can sleep soundly and forget my problems temporarily.

I remember my childhood days,

The days I really enjoy,

I didn’t think of any problems,

Having my playmates with me was fine.

That was also the time

When my mom told to me a saying,

I should live my life to the fullest,

We only live once, I should enjoy every single day.

I wake up from the reality,

Problems shouldn’t be taken seriously,

I should also think of what and who surrounds me,

Sometimes we should face it, but most of the times we need to forget it.

Marvella Valerie is my name,

Means a brave miracle,

Brave to face various difficulties in life,

So I shouldn’t be defeated by anything.

All of the problems have its answers,

Prayer is one of the ways to solve it,

God will hear all the grudges in you,

He will cure it.

I can now say that I have a cup of happiness inside of me,

Appreciating the essence of the people surrounds me,

Contented of what I have,

And God is the center of each relationship I have.
